ADERSH in Togo is targeting 30 poor rural women and girls in Kpove and 30 in Tchamba.

The objective of the project is to reduce women’s poverty. This can have positive socio-economic impact on their family members; because the experiences have proved that women are in the centre of all community development. By using a bicycle as a tool of work, women will spend less time and energy in doing their domestic duties than using foot as a means of mobility. The time and energy saved will be used for other sectors of activities like:

• to attend group of discussions meeting about how to live healthy, how to lead a team,
• to attend literacy or technical training program on how to manage small scales projects generating incomes
• to increase the volume of the crops to be carried to the market and receive more income.
• Women will have enough time to rest themselves and improve their health.
