The National Committee for International Cooperation and Sustainable Development (NCDO) involves people in the Netherlands in international cooperation and supports them with information, subsidies and advice. The millennium goals provide the point of reference for all these activities.
NCDO helps people and organisations in the Netherlands who dedicate themselves to improving the position of people in developing countries. It supports these local development projects with advice and subsidies.
NCDO is supporting a number of our projects. NCDO doubles the donations made to these projects. On our project pages (click on projects per theme or on projects per country) it is for each project indicated whether NCDO is supporting Cycling out of poverty.
NCDO has supported projects of Cycling out of poverty in Burkina Faso (Doulou 2006-2007 and Nariou 2008-2009), Ghana (Asanti Akim 2006-2007 and Ananekrom 2008-2009) and Uganda (Katakwi 2006-2007 and Butagaya 2008-2009).
