Cycling Blue for Kenya: Cycle to School Kisumu Kenya 2009 - 2010

Every day, school children in Africa cover long distances to school. And because most children also have to do some domestic tasks (such as fetching water or fire wood), the time they spent walking to school every day influencing their performance. Children living more than 10 km from school can apply for a bicycle on credit via our partner organisation Victoria Boda Boda SACCO (Saving And Credit COoperation). Read more...

Cycling to School in Katakwi Uganda 2008 - 2009

50 students in the final year of their secondary education can apply for a bicycle on credit via our partner organisation FABIO. The project is located in Katakwi district, in the northeast of Uganda. Many people live in camps due to the disturbances in the past. The distances children have to walk to school are very large.
